Here is some poetry that i thought up one day
it is unpolished and written in the modern style without
rhyming or fancy prose. Not my prefered style but it
seemed right for this piece
Read, enjoy and please leave your comments.
They talk about "inventing" time travel
but they don't see
We are all time travellers.
We come from the past, we came to the present
to change the future
Want to travel to the future? you will get there
soon enough
everyone gets to see the future they helped create
But what they are saying is that they want
to visit the past, well...
that is what books are for.
When we write books, we put ourselves
who we are, where we've been, what we've seen
into our writing.
Read a book and travel in your mind, to the past.
But they want to change the past, the mistakes
the pain and failure...
they can do that too.
The present becomes the past with the passing of a breath.
Change what you are doing now and...boom
you just changed the past.
So mind what you say and do
the space-time continuum is in your hands

Wow, this is pretty awesome. Great work, you should slap a copyright on it! Not only is it really well-written and artistic, I think you touch on a lot of important truths.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andy, glad you like it so much. I do have a copyright notification on the bottom of my blog. I don't think this is my best work, it uses the modern method and I prefer rhymes.
